The development of the digital - knowledge economy in the context of the industrial revolution 4.0, digital transformation and globalization pose a requirement to develop education and training, science and technology, and foster talents, especially in engineering and technology industries, to help Vietnam achieve the goal of becoming a developed and high-income country by 2045.

With the mission and responsibility of the leading university in the country, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) has built individualized training programs to nurture young scientists to meet international standards, contributing to the formation of a leading scientist team (which was declining in recent times) to lead the development of science and technology, making important contributions to the development of the country.

To accomplish this goal associated with autonomy and self-responsibility, VNU established the VNU – Foundation, with the aim of supporting VNU students and lecturers in their study and research and improving infrastructure. However, the resources for training and scientific research in higher education institutions are still limited.

Therefore, VNU wishes to receive the support, interest and sponsorship of agencies, units, organizations, businesses and individuals.  This Foundation will be a practical and strategic contribution to the long-term and sustainable development of national education, training, science and technology.
