The President of VNU decided to establish a Steering Committee for scholarship selection, headed by the Director of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Foundation. Members of the Scholarship Selection Steering Committee include representatives from VNU and IMG Investment Joint Stock Company.
On the morning of July 26th, 2022, at the headquarters of IMG Investment Joint Stock Company, a ceremony was held to sign a scholarship sponsorship agreement for Vietnam National University, Hanoi, named IMG - For the cause of education for excellent lecturers and students of the school.
The signing ceremony of the scholarship award agreement was attended by Prof. Dr. Le Quan - President of VNU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Bao Son - Vice President of VNU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu –Chairman of the VNU Foundation. On the side of IMG, there were Mr. Le Tu Minh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of IMG, Mr. Trinh Xuan Ha - General Director of IMG and the company's leadership team.

President of IMG, Vice Chairman of VNU Alumni Club, Le Tu Minh, has been studying at VNU; through this scholarship, he expressed his wish to be able to help reduce the burden of study costs for talented students and encourage faculty to be creative in teaching and imparting knowledge to future generations, thereby contributing to the increase of VNU's academic quality and reputation.
VNU President Le Quan expressed his appreciation for the contributions of IMG Company to the cause of educating highly qualified human resources for the country that VNU is diligently cultivating.
The signing ceremony marked the beginning of the cooperation relationship between IMG Investment Joint Stock Company and Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Accordingly, IMG Investment Joint Stock Company will sponsor a long-term scholarship program: 300 million for the best lecturer, 100 million for the second-ranked lecturer, 150 million for the best student, and 50 million for the second-ranked student to encourage lecturers and students to constantly innovate in the learning process; at the same time towards social activities, activities for the community. The cooperation is valid for 10 years, from 2022. The scholarship is held once a year. The time for applying for and announcing the scholarship awarding ceremony will be specifically announced at the beginning of the academic year of the scholarship consideration year on the website, the official fan page of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the Foundation and official notification of VNU-affiliated university.
Previously, VNU Alumni Club Vice President, Le Tu Minh, also sponsored 1.1 billion VND for the Operation Fund of the VNU Alumni Club.
